Welcome to Adelaide College

Studying with us

The course is designed specially for all levels of academic and practical ability. The course grants a
three-year diploma, and has been developed over many years of experience to provide invaluable teaching
to an excellent standard. Our experienced lecturers bring a wealth of knowledge to the course.
Designed to encourage you, the student, to seek a deeper and a more personal relationship with God.

The Course is grounded in the following three areas:

Theological Studies
- Each unit has 8 scheduled assignments and most units are concluded with an exam.

Spiritual Growth - Students are encouraged to seek God’s face, through personal and private prayer.

Personal and Practical Development - A wide variety of practical courses are offered, with personality being developed through them.

Qualifications

Registered with the Department For Education and Skills (DFES), the course is both practical and academic. Practical aspects of the course are examined by our resident practical trainers. Students must show aptitude in two trades to pass the course. Academic aspects of the course are examined and validated by both our internal and external examining boards. These boards include highly qualified and experienced individuals: from trustees, ministers of the Gospel, scholars, lecturers etc.

Fees

We ask that those who are able to, meet the funding for their college course; namely £4,000 a year. However, if a student is not in a position where they are able to pay the entire amount, they are expected to pay a minimum of £1,000 a year. Fees are arranged and managed by the College Administrator.

The course lasts for 3 years, with 4 weeks a year being allowed for holiday. The course is intense, yet rewarding and the applicant must be willing to live in a community. Willingness to be ready for anything is imperative for any applicant.
